Title

Selfie Center

Description

The Selfie Center is a free-standing octagonal kiosk-type structure, where PVD FEST attendees are encouraged to take and hashtag selfies. The mission of the Selfie Center is to increase people’s empathy through an appeal to their vanity. The eight sides of the Selfie Center Octagon comprise four painted interior backdrops and four doorways. At the center of the structure is a pole holding up a radial canopy of lights and, just beneath that, a four-faced sign. Each face of the sign is positioned to be visible to those taking selfies.
